Online Content Producer

Gannett Wisconsin Newspapers is looking for an individual to play a key role in developing and implementing the visual, organizational, navigational and interactive components of the Gannett Wisconsin websites.
The content producer works with production and sales managers to prioritize opportunities and keep all efforts focused on growing the reach and resonance of our online offerings. Also, this person will act as liaison between the individual news departments and the online production team, maximizing the online opportunities within project requests, translating details and assuring quality and accuracy.
This position will work to develop and implement group site and web features, apply ROI evaluation to all efforts, develop timeline goals and deliver co-branded products to individual markets. In addition, this position will update the portal site, sort through content offerings, lead the development and implementation of new features, investigate and recommend emerging trends and tactics to improve our electronic offerings and proof existing sites for accuracy, cross-marketing and maximization of interactivity.
REQUIREMENTS
The ideal candidate will have a college degree in a related field with web publishing experience, superior communication/collaboration skills, and outstanding time/project management experience. The ability to focus on internal customer service and revenue opportunities as they pertain to online content is a must. A journalism background is a plus.
